Scarlett Johansson (born November 22 1984 New York City New York, U.S.) American actress and singer whose acting variety earned her acclaim across many genres ranging from period drama to action and thriller. Johansson daughter of an architect as well as a producer was brought up as a child in New York City. Her twin brother Hunter were the youngest of four siblings. From a young age, she developed a passion for acting. She began making commercial auditions around the age seven. After that, she was enrolled in the Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute and afterwards went to the Professional Children's School in Manhattan to further refine her skills.
